How to Add TheebBot to Your Twitch Channel (Step by Step)

Setting Up TheebBot in Under 5 Minutes

Adding TheebBot requires zero technical knowledge. Follow the steps below and your bot will be live before your next stream.

Step 1: Log In

1.Open theeb.bot

2.Click "Start for Free"

3.Authorize with your Twitch account

4.Grant the required permissions (read chat, send messages, manage clips)

TheebBot only requests the permissions it needs — no write access to your account settings.

Step 2: The Bot Goes Live Automatically

After authorization, the bot joins your channel's chat immediately. You'll see a confirmation message in your chat. No extra configuration is required for basic operation.

Step 3: Configure Commands

From the Commands dashboard:

Step 4: Set Up Moderation

From the Moderation dashboard, enable the filters that fit your community:

• Link filter — removes URLs from non-mods (add a whitelist for trusted domains)
• Caps filter — deletes messages that are mostly uppercase
• Spam filter — catches repeated or bot-like messages
• Banned words — your custom blacklist
• Arabic profanity filter — catches Arabic-dialect slurs
• Franco-Arabic filter — catches Arabic words written in Latin letters (a unique TheebBot feature)

Step 5: Enable Loyalty Points

In the Loyalty Points section:

1.Enable the points system

2.Set how many points viewers earn per minute watched

3.Configure a subscriber multiplier (e.g. subscribers earn 2x points)

4.Enable the leaderboard so top viewers are displayed in chat via !top

Step 6: Prayer Time Alerts (Optional)

1.Go to Prayer Times in the dashboard

2.Select your city and calculation method

3.Enable automatic announcements

4.Customize the alert message

2.Click Add Timer
