Prayer Time Alerts on Twitch: A Unique TheebBot Feature
Prayer Time Alerts: A Feature Built for Muslim Streamers
No other Twitch bot in the world offers automatic prayer time alerts. TheebBot added this feature by popular request from the Arabic streaming community, and it has become one of the most loved features on the platform.
Here is everything you need to know about how it works and how to set it up.
The !prayer Command
Any viewer — or you — can type !prayer [city] in chat to get the next prayer times for that location.
Examples
!prayer DubaiResponse:

Muslim viewers in London, Berlin, or Toronto can use it too.
Automatic Chat Alerts
Instead of relying on viewers to ask, you can enable automatic alerts that trigger at the exact prayer time:
1.Open your TheebBot dashboard
2.Go to Prayer Times
3.Select your city and preferred calculation method
4.Enable automatic announcements
5.Write your custom alert message (or use the default)
When prayer time arrives during your stream, the bot sends the alert automatically — no action required from you.

Why This Feature Matters
Respect and Community
Acknowledging prayer times shows respect for your audience's faith. Viewers deeply appreciate this small gesture, and it creates a stronger sense of community between streamer and audience.
Practical for Longer Streams
On marathon streams, prayer time alerts serve as natural break points. Instead of abruptly going AFK, you have an announced pause that the whole community understands.
Completely Unique
This feature simply does not exist on Nightbot, StreamElements, or any other major bot. It was built specifically for TheebBot's Arabic streaming audience.
