Timers
Timers let you send automatic messages on a recurring schedule in chat. Useful for reminding viewers of channel rules, promoting social media accounts, or any message you want to repeat regularly.
How Timers Work
Each timer has two core settings:
- Interval: How many minutes between each message (e.g. every 15 minutes)
- Minimum chat messages: The number of messages that must be written in chat before the next timer message fires. This prevents messages from being sent into an empty chat.
Timer Examples
| Message | Interval | Min. messages |
|---|---|---|
| Follow me on Twitter: twitter.com/example | 15 min | 5 messages |
| Rules: respect everyone, no spam, no links without permission | 30 min | 10 messages |
| Join the Discord server: discord.gg/example | 20 min | 3 messages |
| Don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell! | 25 min | 8 messages |
Tip: Don't overload your chat with timers. 3–4 timers are enough for most channels.
